A career journalist who cut his teeth in the UK before moving to the UAE in 2007, Nic joined The National in 2008, first as deputy national editor then national news editor. At the relaunch in 2017, he was promoted to production editor to oversee the print edition before his role was expanded and he joined the senior staff in the role of night editor in 2018.
