Alloa have appointed former Rangers and Scotland captain Barry Ferguson as their new manager.
The 43-year-old – who left Kelty Hearts on Monday after successfully guiding the Lowland League outfit to promotion to League Two – replaces Peter Grant.
Ferguson said: “It’s a club that you look over the years, the managers that have been here have always been good managers who’ve progressed in the game so once I met the chairman and saw the facilities, it’s the right club at the right time.”
